Makes about 18 goblins
|6||ounces bittersweet chocolate|
|1||bag (10 ounces) regular marshmallows|
|4||cups puffed rice cereal|
|1||cup cocktail peanuts|
|36||to 40 candy-coated chocolate pieces or cinnamon candies|
|18||to 20 pieces candy corn|
- Combine chocolate and butter in large saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Add marshmallows; cook, stirring constantly over medium heat, until mixture is melted and well blended. Stir in cereal, peanuts and raisins; mix well.
- Shape about 1 cup cereal mixture into pointed figures. Press candy-coated chocolate pieces into cereal mixture for eyes. Press candy corn into cereal for noses. Allow shapes to cool on piece of waxed paper or parchment paper.
