Chocolate-Mint Brownies the Editors of Publications International, Ltd.
Makes 16 brownies
|2||squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate|
|1||cup packed light brown sugar|
|1/2||cup all-purpose flour|
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 8-inch square pan. Melt butter and chocolate in small heavy saucepan over low heat; stir to blend. Remove from heat; cool. Beat eggs in medium bowl until light. Add brown sugar, beating well. Blend in chocolate mixture. Stir in flour and vanilla. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes or until firm in center. Cool in pan on wire rack. Prepare Mint Frosting. Spread over top; refrigerate until firm. Prepare Chocolate Glaze. Drizzle over frosting; refrigerate until firm. Cut into 2-inch squares.
