Makes 2 cups sauce
|2||cans (16 ounces each) pear halves in syrup, undrained|
|2||tablespoons granulated sugar|
|1||teaspoon fresh lemon juice|
|1/2||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
- Drain pear halves, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Place pears, reserved syrup, granulated sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon in bowl of food processor or blender; cover. Process until smooth. Just before serving, place pear sauce in medium saucepan; heat until warm.
