Cobb Salad

Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
1 | package (10 ounces) torn mixed salad greens or 8 cups torn romaine lettuce |
6 | ounces deli chicken, turkey or smoked turkey breast, cut 1/4 inch thick |
1 | large tomato, seeded and chopped |
1/3 | cup bacon bits or crisp-cooked bacon, crumbled |
1 | large ripe avocado, peeled and diced |
1/3 | cup prepared blue cheese or Caesar salad dressing |
Preparation
- Place lettuce in salad bowl. Dice chicken; place in center of lettuce. Arrange tomato, bacon and avocado in rows on either side of chicken.
- Drizzle with dressing. Serve immediately.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with warm French or Italian rolls.
