Makes 10 kabobs
|30||cocktail-size smoked sausages|
|10||to 20 cherry or grape tomatoes|
|10||to 20 large pimiento-stuffed green olives|
|2||yellow bell peppers, cut into 1-inch squares|
|1/4||cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted|
|Lemon juice (optional)|
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Thread 3 sausages onto 8-inch wooden skewer,* alternating with tomatoes, olives and bell peppers. Repeat on remaining nine skewers.
- Place skewers on rack in shallow baking pan. Brush with melted butter and drizzle with lemon juice, if desired. Bake 4 to 6 minutes until hot.
For younger children, remove food from skewers and serve in a paper cup or bowl. It's still portable, but much safer.
