Cream Cheese Icing

Yield

Makes about 1-1/2 cups icing

Ingredients

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar

Preparation

  1. Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth, scraping down side of bowl occasionally. Gradually add powdered sugar. Beat at low speed until well blended, scraping down side of bowl occasionally.
