Crunchy Peach Snack Cake
Makes 9 servings
|1||package (9 ounces) yellow cake mix without pudding in the mix|
|1||container (6 ounces) peach-flavor yogurt|
|1/4||cup peach fruit spread|
|3/4||cup square whole grain oat cereal with cinnamon, slightly crushed|
|Whipped cream (optional)|
- Place rack in center of oven; preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8-inch square baking pan.
- Combine cake mix, yogurt and egg in medium bowl. Beat with electric mixer at low speed about 1 minute or until blended. Increase speed to medium; beat 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth.
- Spread batter into prepared pan. Drop fruit spread by 1/2 teaspoonfuls over cake batter. Sprinkle with cereal.
- Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
