Miss District of Columbia, Jen Corey, submitted this recipe for Crab Cakes.
|1||tbsp. Dijon mustard|
|2||Teaspoons of Old Bay seasoning|
|4||slices of white bread w/ crusts trimmed, then cut into cubes|
|1||pound of crab meat|
|Butter for frying|
- Beat 2 eggs in large bowl
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and Old Bay (parsley optional) and beat ingredients together
- Add crab meat and the bread cubes and fold into mixture
- Form into crab cakes
- Melt butter in frying pan then add crab cakes. Cook on each side till golden brown.
