Prep and Cook Time 15 minutes
Makes 6 servings (about 3 tablespoons fondue per serving)
|1||cup semisweet chocolate chips|
|1/4||cup 2% milk|
|2||to 3 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts|
|1||large banana, sliced|
|2||medium apples, sliced|
|2||medium oranges, peeled and cut into segments|
- Heat chocolate chips in small saucepan over very low heat until melted and smooth. Stir in milk and pecans; cook 1 minute.
- Pour fondue into serving dish; serve immediately with fruit for dipping.
The possibilities for fondue dippers are endless! If fresh fruit is not available, try canned fruit or dried fruit. Cut a prepared pound cake or angel food cake into chunks for dipping, or set out a basket filled with a variety of small cookies.
