|2||tablespoons reduced-fat margarine|
|1||teaspoon grated orange peel|
|1/8||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|2||teaspoons sugar substitute*|
|3/4||cup egg substitute|
|3||tablespoons fat-free (skim) milk|
|4||slices cinnamon raisin bread|
*This recipe was tested with sucralose-based sugar substitute.
- Combine margarine, orange peel, cinnamon and sugar substitute in small bowl; stir until well blended.
- Combine egg, milk and vanilla in 13x9-inch baking pan. Using a fork, beat until well blended. Add bread slices; turn to coat. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Heat medium nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Liberally coat skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add bread slices. (Discard remaining egg mixture.) Cook 3 minutes. Turn; cook 3 minutes more or until golden brown.
- Serve with margarine mixture.
