If you enjoy eating seafood, you've surely noticed that cocktail sauce is typically on the table. That's the idea with this recipe, which provides a little bit of extra oomph to succulent fish, shrimp, clams and oysters.
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
- salt and pepper to taste
Whisk all ingredients together in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed. Taste and adjust the seasonings as you like. Store covered in the refrigerator.
