Makes 1 (1-1/2-pound) loaf (12 to 16 servings)
|1/4||cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, cut up and softened|
|2-1/2||cups all-purpose flour|
|1||cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese|
|2||teaspoons active dry yeast|
- Measuring carefully, place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order specified by owner's manual.
- Program basic or white cycle and desired crust setting; press start. (Do not use delay cycle.) Remove baked bread from pan; cool on wire rack.
