Makes 12 jumbo muffins
|German Chocolate Topping|
|1||package (18.25 ounces) German chocolate cake mix with pudding in the mix, plus ingredients to prepare mix|
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease 12 (3-1/2-inch) large muffin cups; set aside. Prepare German Chocolate Topping; set aside.
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions, reducing water by 1/4 cup. Spoon into prepared muffin cups, filling half full. Sprinkle German Chocolate Topping evenly over batter.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpicks inserted into centers come out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes. Serve warm or cool completely.
German Chocolate Topping
Combine 3 tablespoons <em>each</em> chopped pecans, flaked coconut and packed brown sugar in small bowl until well blended.
