Granola Raisin Bars
Makes 15 bars
|1||package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix, divided|
|1/2||cup (1 stick) butter, melted, divided|
|4||cups granola cereal with raisins|
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray 13X9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Reserve 1/2 cup cake mix; set aside.
- Combine remaining cake mix, 4 tablespoons melted butter and egg in large bowl; stir until well blended. (Dough will be thick and sticky.) Spoon dough into prepared pan. Cover with plastic wrap and press dough evenly into pan, using plastic wrap to keep hands from sticking to dough.
- Bake 8 minutes. Meanwhile, combine reserved cake mix, granola cereal and remaining 4 tablespoons melted butter in medium bowl; stir until well blended. Spread mixture evenly over partially baked bars.
- Return pan to oven; bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely on wire rack.
