Green Beans with Blue Cheese and Roasted Peppers
Makes 4 servings
|1||bag (20 ounces) frozen cut green beans|
|1/2||jar (about 3 ounces) roasted red pepper strips, drained and slivered|
|1/8||teaspoon white pepper|
|4||ounces cream cheese|
|3/4||cup blue cheese (3 ounces), crumbled|
|1/2||cup Italian-style bread crumbs|
|1||tablespoon butter, melted|
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 2-quart oval casserole with nonstick cooking spray. Combine green beans, red pepper strips, salt and pepper in prepared dish.
- Place cream cheese and milk in small saucepan; heat over low heat, stirring until melted. Add blue cheese; stir only until combined. Pour cheese mixture over green bean mixture; stir until green beans are coated.
- Combine bread crumbs and butter in small bowl; sprinkle evenly over casserole. , uncovered, 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
