Herbed Mushroom Pizza

Makes 4 servings
|2||tablespoons olive oil|
|8||ounces sliced button or wild mushrooms, such as portobello or shiitake|
|1-1/2||teaspoons minced garlic|
|1/2||teaspoon dried basil|
|1/2||teaspoon dried thyme leaves|
|1/4||teaspoon black pepper|
|1/3||cup pizza or marinara sauce|
|1||bread-style pizza crust (12 inches)|
|1-1/2||cups (6 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese|
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add mushrooms and garlic; cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in basil, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over crust. Top with mushroom mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Bake directly on oven rack 8 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Slide cookie sheet under pizza to remove from oven.
