Italian Sausage and Vegetable Stew

Makes 6 servings
|1||pound hot or mild Italian sausage links, cut into 1-inch pieces|
|1||package (16 ounces) frozen vegetable blend, such as onions and green, red and yellow bell peppers|
|2||medium zucchini, sliced|
|1||can (14-1/2 ounces) diced Italian-style tomatoes, undrained|
|1||jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained|
|4||cloves garlic, minced|
- Cook sausage in large saucepan, covered, over medium to medium-high heat 5 minutes or until browned; pour off drippings.
- Add frozen vegetables, zucchini, tomatoes with juice, mushrooms and garlic; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 10 minutes. Cook uncovered 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened slightly.
Serve with garlic bread.
