Jicama & Citrus Salad
Makes 4 servings
|1||(13-ounce) jicama, peeled and cut into short thin strips (about 4 cups)|
|2||large navel oranges, peeled and cut into sections|
|1||small red onion, thinly sliced|
|1/2||cup lime juice|
|1||jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced or 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes|
|1||teaspoon orange zest|
- Combine all the ingredients in medium mixing bowl; mix well. Let stand 10 minutes before serving, stirring occasionally.
