Makes 4 dozen
|1||pound ground beef|
|1||tablespoon instant minced onion|
|1||can (8 ounces) refried beans|
|1||can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained (optional)|
|1/2||cup bottled taco sauce|
|4||dozen round tortilla chips|
|1||cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese|
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook and stir beef and onion in large skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain and discard drippings.
- Stir in beans, chilies, if desired, and taco sauce; cook and stir until bubbly, about 4 minutes. Spoon about 1 heaping tablespoon of the beef mixture on top of each tortilla chip; sprinkle with cheese. Place on baking sheets.
- Bake until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.
