Makes 4 servings


1 (12-ounce) loaf focaccia bread
3 tablespoons prepared Italian salad dressing
1/2 cup sliced Spanish olives
8 ounces thinly sliced salami or baked ham
4 ounces thinly sliced provolone or sharp Cheddar cheese
Lettuce leaves


  1. Cut bread crosswise into halves; brush cut sides of both halves generously with salad dressing. Pour any remaining salad dressing over olives.
  2. Arrange meat and cheese on bottom half of bread; top with olives, lettuce leaves and top half of bread. Cut into wedges to serve.

Lighten Up

To reduce the amount of fat in this recipe, replace the Italian salad dressing with reduced-fat or fat-free Italian salad dressing.
