Delicious Navy Beans

One 1-pound bag navy beans, soaked overnight
1 large onion, cut up
1 ham bone for seasoning
2 beef boullion cubes
2 teaspoons dried savory
1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash (more or less to taste)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cans whole potatoes, drained


  1. Mix all of the above ingredients, except canned potatoes, in a crockpot. Add enough water to cover ingredients by about 1 inch. Cook on low setting, until beans are tender.
  2. Add canned potatoes and cook an additional 20 minutes. Serve this hot and hearty meal in bowls. Great for cold winter weekends.
