Oatmeal Candied Chippers
Makes about 4 dozen cookies
|3/4||cup butter, softened|
|3/4||cup granulated sugar|
|3/4||cup packed light brown sugar|
|3/4||cup all-purpose flour|
|1/2||teaspoon baking soda|
|3||cups uncooked old-fashioned or quick oats|
|1-1/3||cups (10-ounce package) candy-coated semisweet chocolate chips or candy-coated chocolate pieces|
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets; set aside. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add milk, egg and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, salt and baking soda. Beat until well blended. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cookies stand 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
