Open-Face Pear and Walnut Breakfast Sandwich
Makes 4 servings
|2||pears, peeled and chopped|
|1/2||cup unsweetened applesauce|
|3||tablespoons chopped walnuts|
|1/2||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|1/4||teaspoon ground nutmeg|
|4||slices multi-grain bread|
|1/3||cup finely shredded Swiss cheese|
|Chopped dried cranberries|
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine pears, applesauce, walnuts, sucralose, cinnamon and nutmeg in small bowl.
- Toast bread; top evenly with pear mixture. Place on nonstick baking sheet. Top each sandwich evenly with Swiss cheese. Bake 8 minutes.
- Garnish with cranberries.
