Orange Sauce

This recipe is part of the recipe for Tropical Bread Pudding with Orange Sauce


1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup whipping cream
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur


  1. Combine powdered sugar, butter and milk in medium saucepan. Add egg yolk; mix well with wire whisk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  2. Remove from heat and add liqueur. Let cool slightly.
