Ornamental Frosting

This recipe is part of the recipe for Gingerbread Bears


Makes about 2 cups


1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 package (16 ounces) powdered sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons milk


  1. Beat butter and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed. Beat in powdered sugar and enough milk at low speed until frosting is of desired spreading consistency.
