Team up the popular flavors of almost any child–peanut butter, strawberry and banana to make these irresistible bite-size sandwich treats.

Ingredients
1 | package (8 ounces) small pita bread rounds, cut crosswise into halves |
16 | teaspoons reduced-fat peanut butter |
16 | teaspoons strawberry fruit spread |
1 | large banana, peeled and thinly sliced (about 48 slices) |
Preparation
- Spread inside of each pita half with 1 teaspoon each peanut butter and spreadable fruit.
- Fill pita halves evenly with banana slices. Serve immediately.

Substitute honey for spreadable fruit.
Jolly Jellies
Substitute any flavor jelly for spreadable fruit and thin apple slices for banana slices.
