Peppy Snack Mix
If you are closely watching the sodium in your diet, make this recipe with sodium-free rice cakes and low-sodium pretzels.

Makes 6 (2/3-cup) servings
Ingredients
3 | (3-inch) plain rice cakes, broken into bite-size pieces |
1-1/2 | cups bite-size frosted shredded wheat biscuit cereal |
3/4 | cup pretzel sticks, halved |
3 | tablespoons reduced-fat margarine, melted |
2 | teaspoons reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce |
3/4 | teaspoon chili powder |
1/8 | to 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper |
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Combine rice cake pieces, cereal and pretzels in 13X9-inch baking pan. Combine margarine, Worcestershire, chili powder and pepper in small bowl. Drizzle over cereal mixture; toss to combine. Bake 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes.
