Savory Whipped Cream

1 cup whipping cream
2 teaspoons lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 tablespoon plus 1-1/2 teaspoons bourbon (optional)


  1. Beat cream, lemon peel and pepper in large bowl until soft peaks form. Stir in lemon juice and bourbon, if desired.
