Seafood Spread

Prep time 10 minutes plus refrigerating


Makes 12 servings (1-1/2 cups)


1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 pound smoked whitefish, skinned, boned and flaked
2 tablespoons minced green onion
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Rye bread halves
Lime wedges, for garnish (optional)


  1. Beat cream cheese in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add whitefish, green onion, dill, lemon juice and pepper; mix until well blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Serve with rye bread slices and garnish with lime wedges, if desired.
