Makes 12 servings (1-1/2 cups)
|1||package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened|
|1/2||pound smoked whitefish, skinned, boned and flaked|
|2||tablespoons minced green onion|
|1||tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill|
|1||teaspoon lemon juice|
|1/4||teaspoon black pepper|
|Rye bread halves|
|Lime wedges, for garnish (optional)|
- Beat cream cheese in medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Add whitefish, green onion, dill, lemon juice and pepper; mix until well blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve with rye bread slices and garnish with lime wedges, if desired.
