Makes 2 cups guacamole
|2||large avocados, peeled, pitted and roughly mashed|
|1||medium tomato, seeded and chopped|
|1||to 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice|
|1-1/2||tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh cilantro|
- Combine all ingredients in medium bowl.
- Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap forming an airtight seal on surface of guacamole and refrigerate up to 4 hours.
Some people swear that placing an avocado pit in the center of the guacamole prevents it from discoloring. Why not try it and see!
