Smooth Mango Shake


Makes 4 servings


2 medium very ripe mangoes,* peeled, pitted, and sliced
1-1/2 cups fat-free (skim) milk
1 cup vanilla fat-free sugar-free ice cream or frozen yogurt
3 to 4 teaspoons lime juice
1/4 teaspoon ground mace
Mint sprigs

*Very ripe mangoes are essential for the flavor in this shake.


  1. Combine milk and mangoes in food processor or blender; process until blended. Add ice cream, lime juice and mace; process until smooth. Pour into tall glasses; garnish with mint sprigs.
