Spicy Chicken Stromboli
Prep and Cook Time 30 minutes
Makes 6 servings
|1||cup frozen broccoli florets, thawed|
|1||can (10 ounces) diced chicken|
|1-1/2||cups (6 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeño peppers|
|1/4||cup chunky salsa|
|2||green onions, chopped|
|1||can (10 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough|
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Coarsely chop broccoli. Combine broccoli, chicken, cheese, salsa and green onions in small bowl.
- Unroll pizza dough. Pat into 15x10-inch rectangle. Sprinkle broccoli mixture evenly over top. Starting with long side, tightly roll into log jelly-roll style. Pinch seam to seal. Place on baking sheet, seam side down.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly. Slice and serve warm.
Serve with salsa on the side for dipping or pour salsa on top of slices for a boost of added flavor.
