Stacked Kaiser with Sweet Spiced Spread
Makes 4 servings
|1||jar prepared yellow mustard|
|1||tablespoon packed dark brown sugar|
|1||teaspoon prepared horseradish|
|1/8||teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|4||kaiser rolls, sliced in half|
|6||ounces thinly sliced deli honey baked ham|
|6||ounces thinly sliced deli smoked turkey|
|3||ounces sliced Swiss cheese|
|3||ounces sliced American cheese|
|1||ounce (1/4 cup) thinly sliced red onion|
|3||ounces (1/2 cup) thinly sliced green bell pepper|
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, horseradish and cinnamon. Stir until well blended.
- Coat cut sides of each of the rolls with about 1 tablespoon mayonnaise mixture per side. Place equal amounts of the ham, turkey, Swiss and American cheeses, onion and bell pepper on the rolls and top with the remaining halves of bread. Press down gently.
Toast the cut rolls before building the sandwiches.
