Makes 4 servings
|1||pound extra-lean (90% lean) ground beef|
|1||small onion, finely chopped|
|1||clove garlic, minced|
|2||teaspoons chili powder|
|1||teaspoon ground cumin|
|Dash black pepper|
|1||large head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces (about 10 cups)|
|1||medium avocado, peeled, sliced|
- Brown ground beef in medium skillet. Drain. Add onion and garlic; cook until tender. Stir in seasonings.
- Combine lettuce, tomatoes and avocado in large serving bowl; toss lightly. Top with ground beef mixture. Serve with salsa.
