Vary the fruits and colors in the ice ring for the holiday–let your imagination be your guide.
Makes 24 servings (about 5 ounces each)
|Thanksgiving Ice Ring|
|1||can (12 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed|
|2||quarts cranberry juice cocktail|
|1||quart apple cider|
|1/2||cup instant orange-flavored breakfast drink|
|1/4||teaspoon red food coloring (optional)|
|1||bottle (1 liter) lemon-lime soda|
- The day before serving, prepare Thanksgiving Ice Ring; freeze until firm.
- When ready to serve, combine all remaining ingredients except soda in large punch bowl; stir to blend well. Pour in soda.
- Unmold ice ring; float in punch.
For adult parties, stir in 1 cup vodka and 1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur with the apple cider, if desired.
