Tomato Sauce

Makes about 3-1/2 cups


2 cans (14-1/2 ounces) tomatoes, chopped, undrained
Dash hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh marjoram or 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon ground fennel seeds
Salt and black pepper


  1. Combine all ingredients except salt and black pepper in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
