Turkey Sausage & Pasta Toss

|8||ounces uncooked penne or gemelli pasta|
|1||can (14-1/2 ounces) no-salt-added stewed tomatoes, undrained|
|6||ounces turkey kielbasa or smoked turkey sausage|
|2||cups (1-inch) fresh asparagus pieces or broccoli florets|
|2||tablespoons prepared reduced-fat pesto|
|2||tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese|
- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, heat tomatoes in medium saucepan. Cut sausage crosswise into 1/4-inch slices; add to tomatoes. Stir in asparagus and pesto; cover and simmer about 6 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
- Drain pasta; toss with tomato mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
