Lee Ann Whippen & Wood Chicks BBQ Turducken

Ingredients
turkey, duck, chicken | |
apple smoked bacon | |
salted butter | |
apple juice | |
orange slices | |
sausage stuffing | |
jalapeno cornbread stuffing | |
sugar | |
cayenne | |
chili powder | |
paprika | |
garlic |
Preparation
- Trim most fat off duck, remove chicken skin, leave turkey intact.
- Brine all three birds.
- Sew turkey together. Apply heavy coat of poultry rub.
- Lay turducken over strips of bacon. Dry rub entire turkey. Spread butter and bacon over the top.
- Cook low and slow for 8 hours in smoker.
