Lee Ann Whippen & Wood Chicks BBQ Turducken

turkey, duck, chicken
apple smoked bacon
salted butter
apple juice
orange slices
sausage stuffing
jalapeno cornbread stuffing
chili powder


  1. Trim most fat off duck, remove chicken skin, leave turkey intact.
  2. Brine all three birds.
  3. Sew turkey together. Apply heavy coat of poultry rub.
  4. Lay turducken over strips of bacon. Dry rub entire turkey. Spread butter and bacon over the top.
  5. Cook low and slow for 8 hours in smoker.
