Zesty Barbecue Shrimp

Ingredients
2 | tablespoons butter or margarine |
1 | cup sliced fresh mushrooms |
6 | green onions, sliced |
1 | clove garlic, minced |
1 | medium tomato, seeded and chopped |
1/2 | cup prepared barbecue sauce |
2 | tablespoons hot pepper sauce |
1 | tablespoon lemon juice |
1 | pound raw medium-size shrimp, shelled, deveined |
Hot cooked rice |
Preparation
- Heat butter in large skillet until hot; add mushrooms, green onions and garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Add tomato, barbecue sauce, hot pepper sauce and lemon juice; heat to boiling.
- Stir in shrimp. Simmer, uncovered, 4 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently. Serve over rice.
